Who Am I
My photography is created through make-believe, dancing to music, playing dress-up, nature, and magical light.
Creating comes from within, so each photo is going to tell a bit of you from my perception. I love making photos that will last a lifetime, but photos that will also capture exactly what I see in you. Photos that are for no one else but you, and then some to show the world.
My beginnings in photography started in the live music clubs of Vancouver, BC. As a self-taught photographer, I experimented while attending my (then) boyfriend’s shows. Always a lover of dress-up and make-believe getting together with other creators and making art was our entertainment (loves you girls ;)
16 years later and my husband and I now have a family and my life story has evolved. I am also a breathwork facilitator and energy alchemist, I love seeing women get into a practice of self-awareness and nourishing their souls while also experiencing the fun life has to offer.
Experience
I have had over 20 years of experience in design, in particular graphic design which eventually lead me to web development and digital marketing. During my time working in this industry, I became interested in photography and began studying and photographing in my spare time.
As a passionate entrepreneur, I always felt the pull to run my own business, and photography became my focus backed by my experience in branding and marketing.
I have been fortunate enough to travel to China, the USA and Vietnam to photograph for design and decor companies and help them build their photography studios and workflows, and I have photographed many individuals who are also passionate entrepreneurs.
My growth is always a priority and I aim to create greater images than the last.
